Combatants laugh as they move on the rear of a pick-up truck, racing past a row of multiple dead bodies and heading in the direction of the setting Sudan's sun.

"See all this work. See this act of mass destruction," a combatant exclaims.

The fighter beams as he turns the camera on his person and his companion fighters, their paramilitary identification on display: "They will all be killed in this manner."

These individuals are exulting in a atrocity that aid workers suspect resulted in the deaths of over two thousand civilians in the Sudanese city of el-Fasher last month.

A City Isolated from the Globe

Following their control of the community under encirclement for approximately an extended period, from August the militia proceeded to consolidate its position and blockade the leftover residents.

Content presenting its militiamen providing supplies to residents were disseminated by various users, while the militia's media office published multiple clips claiming to show the humane treatment of army detainees.

Regardless of the digital initiative being deployed by the RSF, their conduct in al-Fashir have sparked international anger.
