Los Angeles experienced widespread festivities after the Dodgers won a thrilling seven-match World Series title. Supporters worldwide joined local residents in jubilation, marking the first time in a quarter-century that a team has achieved consecutive championships.
Victory Parade Draws Enormous Turnout
Los Angeles area events included a downtown parade on the morning of the parade, a ticketed rally at Dodger Stadium, and impromptu gatherings across the city.
Social media videos show countless of Los Angeles residents packing downtown streets, many displaying handmade banners and team flags. The team was seen traveling proudly on a open-top bus through the crowds, hoisting the Commissioner’s trophy high.
